This past weekend (Sept 27th) Steve's Tours made the trip down to Fergus, Ont. to help celebrate the 60th brithday of one of our long time clients Shilla. Dougie and Jeb came with me to help in the celebration. Needless to say Shilla was very surprised to see us there. Everyone had a good laugh at the stories we had to share about Shilla. Frankie's a good guy, he didn't even get upset when he found out that I've taken Shilla on a few private Tours. Found out that Steve's not the only guy under that red-headed vixin's spell. Sounds like this Ernie fella has been cutting Frankie and I's grass if ya know what I'm sayin... Regardless, my polaroid camera wasn't working on the weekend, so I'm hopin' some of the folk at the party can forward Steve some photos for the site, as well as some videos if possible. (Nov, 28/2008) I thought it was about time to give ya'll an update about Steve's Tours. There isn't much new really, snows here to stay now I guess. It won't be long till I move the old trailer out onto the lake. I don't know too many people who can ice fish right out there front door like old Steve here. Anyhoo, its almost that time of year eggnog will be coming back out soon. Thats a big hit up here at the camp, like my buddy Pete always says..."I love drinking eggnog and rum, its just like drinking cake mix with booze in it. A big old glass of cake...." I haven't had much to do around the camp lately, no deer hunting needed since I got that one that died of jealousy, if you don't know what I'm talkin' about check out the pictures section for the low down. (May 11/2009) The spring is here along with some good ol' turkey huntin'. I know whatcha thinkin' Steve wouldn't hunt big'o flighlest birds would he? Nah, but I'd take a group out on a tour to do it... Heck I'd take a group out on a tour to find the Carmel Secret let alone to drink beer and shoot off some guns. Anyhoo the winter was pretty good up here at the lodge, and the spring has been good so far too. Lookin' forward to some warmer weather though, thats when the rounds of Hee Haw and naked sauna really kick into gear. I don't post any photos from those sessions for you to enjoy...two words, "Guy code"....Shrinkage is not a myth, and for some it doesn't take any cold water, nuff said. Well I'd better wrap this up for now, so take care and hopefully we'll see you out on a tour with Steve's Tours sometime soon. Remember, Steve's Tours will take ya places you never thought you'd be.
(July, 27/2009) Just got back on Saturday from takin' the Dickinson and Theissen group on their annual tour to Kasasaway Lake. What a hoot those lads are. From the Hee Haw songs in the naked sauna, the great fishin' that included small mouth bass, pickrel, pike, lake trout and speckled trout. Not to forget the potty tournies (thats a washer game), the great chats around the fire, the awesome food and last but not least, the fantastic company. There was a down side to the trip, the estimated beer consumption was way off, and I mean way off, somebody has to clue these guys in, its a case a day per person.... its either that or we have to stop mixing beer in our coffee.... nah more beer. Anyhoo I'll be posting some photos soon, and for those of you that were caught on film enjoying the naked sauna, those photos can be purchased for a small fee...haha...Just kidding, I sold them to Jimmy already... Alrighty then I'd better get going for now, make sure to stop by the sight from time to time, I'll try and keep'er updated. (Sept, 30/2009) Hey everyone, Steve here with an update. I was out on a tour a couple weeks back with the Elora Rockers ball team, good bunch of lads repeat customers ya know. Anyhoo a good time was had by all, good'ol Steve doesn't disapoint ya when your on a tour with Steve's Tours. We went back upto Okimot Lodge on Tomiko Lake. I know what your thinkin' "Hey Steve isn't Okimot Lodge just Tomiko spelt backwards?" Why yes it is, thank-you Rainman, now go back and watch Judge Whopner. As promised I got the lads into a wack of Small Mouth Bass, and there was one or two Pike caught as well. This time out with the Rockers good'ol Magot wasn't the bumblin' stumblin' drunk, this time it was C-Bot's Dad's turn.... And he pulled that off like a pro... By the end of the weekend I thought I was coming down with Alzhiemers because I couldn't remember what he was like sober... Did I mention when him and Larry stood side by side thier white haired heads reminded me of a big'ol pair of polar bear nuts... Well I'd better get back to my Skeet shooting tour, I've got members of the CNIB out today, its an easy way to save a fortune on clay pigeons...
